Did you know that Windows 7 support will end on 14 January 2020?

Whilst this might seem some time away yet, it could be a big deal for your business in terms of support and is something worth discussing and acting upon now.

With Windows 7, Microsoft made a commitment to provide ten years of product support when it was released in 2009. When this ten-year period ends, Microsoft will discontinue Windows 7 support.

Why?

To focus on supporting newer technologies and experiences.

What will this mean for you?

After 14 January next year, all technical assistance and software updates from Windows that protect your devices will no longer be available for the product. This can result in security breaches and leave your network vulnerable to cyber threats.
